Confessions of a Shopaholic is a fictional book about a shopaholic named, Rebecca "Becky" Bloomwood in London, England. Becky seems as if she has it all, chic clothes, great friends, a fantastic flat, and a job in finance. How much better could her life get? A lot better, Surprisingly Rebecca can’t really afford most of these things. She will just charge them to her 10+ credit cards and when the bill comes Rebecca will "forget" about them. Becky has a problem with shopping. If she sees something that is absolutely cute she will buy it right away, she doesn’t even care about the price. Before she buys it she thinks will I need this, just how a logical person would think, but instead of saying something like “No, I have something similar”, or “No I can’t afford this” she just goes ahead and purchases it right away. Being a shopaholic has definitely given lots of stress and troubles to Rebecca but it has also given her opportunities that create great adventures and a brilliant life. This novel would be great for someone who is a fan of funny and light books. I would reccomend the author Sophie Kinsella to anyone.
