The View from Saturday is a story about 4 kids who all go to Epiphany Middle School and belong to the Epiphany Academic Bowl team. They are named "The Souls." The Souls are led by thier handicaped teacher, Mrs. Olinski. The 4 kids on The Souls team, are, Noah, Ethan, Nadia and Julian. Before the souls became the souls, the 4 didn't truly know who each other were, although Nadia and Ethan did know each other over the summer from their grandparents in Century Village, Florida. Julian was the new kid at there school and he was a total misfit. Being the kind and excited new kid, Julian decides to invite Nadia, Ethan and Noah to his house to a tea party. This was how the 4 became friends and how "The Souls" were truly formed. The View from Saturday includes each "Souls" own personal account of what they are feeling and what they are doing.
This book is children's fiction. I would recommend this book to someone who is looking to read something uplifting and happy.
