I've really been into the non-fiction genre the past few months so most of the books I've read have been non-fiction. Check out my list:
Freedom by Jonathan Frazen: Yeah, this book is fiction. I think after reading this long book I decided to read non-fiction.
The Wave by Susan Casey: I loved reading this book. If you know anything about surfing, even if you don't, you'll want to read this book.
Zeitoun by Dave Eggers: Wrote an account of a Syrian-American immigrant and his extraordinary experience during Hurricane Katrina.
Where Men Win Glory by Jon Krakauer: True story of how an NFL football player joins the marines after the events of 9/11.
Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand: Another true story of an amazing American hero. You will not believe this book is non-fiction...what a page turner.
Hope these books are of interest of you too. Happy reading!
