The Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers is a fantasy book set in the world of Middle Earth, where the hobbit known as Frodo Baggins and his friend Samwise Gamgee are entrusted to bring the One Ring to Mount Doom in Mordor in order to destroy it before the Dark Lord Sauron can unleash his armies to take over all of Middle Earth. Frodo and Sam were two hobbits from the Shire, the home of the hobbits, where they were entrusted by the wizard Gandalf to bring the One Ring to Mordor to destroy, the second book in the series The Two Towers details their journey towards Mordor after they are separated from their allies. My favorite part of the book was the Battle of Helms Deep which was the major battle of the book in which the forces of men fell back to the fortress of Helms Deep to fight the thousands of Orcs that descended upon the fort. As this being my favorite book series I would recommend this to anyone interested in fantasy or action.

I've read books of different genres, but mainly ranging from fantasy to drama.
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher: I enjoyed this book very much, I would recommend this to fans of drama novels. Stoneheart by Charlie Fletcher: This fantasy book was very well done, and kept me interested to the end of this book. Dragonwings by Laurence Yep: This book is a very interesting view of Chinese-Americans in the early 1900s in San Francisco, and is an interesting read. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkein: With this being my favorite series, I have always been a huge fan of this series and genre. Halo: Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund: As a fan of the series I thought it was a good science fiction book Black Hawk Down by Mark Bowden: As a true military story with drama i thought this was a very good book. |
