This quarter I have read some books on some very interesting topics. Such as, the Holocaust and WW2. I learned a lot of new things about history from the books I've read this quarter.
Princess Plot: By Kirsten Boie- This book is one of my most favorite books I've read in a long time. It was so interesting because it showed how easily a normal American girl was tricked into being a cover-up for a foreign princess.
Milkweed: By Jerry Spinelli- This book was a great book. I like it becasue it showed how children were all alone in the ghetto and how they survived. It showed their struggles and hardships, but how they are always still friends.
Diary of Anne Frank: By Anne Frank- In class, we read a script of a movie about Anne Frank and her time in the secret annex. This topic interested me so much that i decided to read her diary. It was a book that will always be a classic. It was wonderful, one of the best books of all time.
Boy in the Striped Pajamas: John Boyne- This book was great book. In some parts their was a little too much detail and was drawn out. It was a page-turner and made you always want to read more about how Bruno makes new friends at his new house.
