I have been reading some real page turners lately. I have been into fiction books, because non-fiction books don't interest me that much.
Nice and Mean by Jessica Leader: I didn't really end up liking this book. It was okay but it was just going nowhere, the only cool part is that the main character was named Marina!
Across Five Aprils by Irene Hunt: This book was very good! We read this book in class and talked about it in groups. I liked all the twists and turns in the book.
The Help by Kathryn Stockett: This book was such a page turner! It talked about how life was for an african american maid in the 1960's.
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul by Bill Cosby, Robert Fulghhum, Jennie Garth, Jenifer Love Hewitt, A.J. Langer: A self help book usually strictly tells you what to do in steps, this doesn't. Unlike any ohter, this self help book is filled with sotries about some troubles that a tween/ teenager will have to go through in life. I loved it so much and it heped me out with a lot of issues.
Peeled by Joan Bauer: The book wasn't that great, it was interesting at the begining but started to die down slowly. It was nice on how desriptive it was, also I like how the young gurl was a journalist.
